Diving in Colombia
One of the most beautiful is Providence, a quiet island off the beaten path. It's in the archipelago of San Andres and Providencia, famous for the sea of ​​seven colors, 25 minutes by plane from San Andrés. It has a very large barrier reef, where you can see barracudas, snappers, groupers, angel fish of various kinds, squirrel fish, rays and next to Cayo Cangrejo are nurse sharks. Tayrona Park in Santa Marta, is another place where there are many dive sites, among which stand out the Needle Island, Bay Gayraca and Neguanje Bay where you will find a variety of corals and reef fish . On the Pacific side, Gorgona Island, a nature park, is another paradise under the sea to go diving, is a bit aggressive because the water is cooler, stronger currents and dips a little deeper . Malpelo

Also on the Pacific coast is the island of Malpelo. To get there you have to navigate 36 hours from the port of Buenaventura, but worth it as there are large schools of hammerhead sharks observed in virtually all dives. The walls of the island is full of eels and other animals.
